Brown Bag: From Evidence to Action: Lessons from a Professional Learning Approach Supporting HQIM Implementation (8/25/26)

During the session, Teaching Lab and AIR shared findings from a randomized study of 140 high-performing teachers across 52 schools: 20 hours of professional learning plus weekly coaching increased teachers’ use of and confidence. Participants saw evidence that this approach improved teachers’ use of HMH literacy materials and confidence, with the strongest student gains among those furthest behind.
