Synthesis
We’ve put together a substantive synthesis of what we heard across the full session. It is unattributed and designed to be a useful go-to resource for your own leadership conversations.
About this Event
District leaders make critical decisions each year that determine whether and to what extent professional learning (PL) improves instruction at scale. Research, pilots, and programs offer important insight into effective PL design, but their impact depends on how districts translate that evidence into budgeting, planning, and implementation choices. RPPL and partners from the Annenberg Institute at Brown University are hosting a 60-minute virtual leadership conversation that includes a brief panel and facilitated discussion with district leaders who make or inform system-level PL decisions. Together, participants will explore how districts are strengthening PL strategy while navigating competing priorities and share practical approaches for aligning resources, coherence, and impact. This session is designed for district leaders who make or inform system-level professional learning decisions. Participation is open to district leaders both within and beyond RPPL’s network.
Who should attend:
District leaders who make or inform system-level PL decisions, including those involved in:
- Measuring and communicating PL impact
