RPPL’s 2024-2026 Contributing Studies Community of Practice convenes PIs, research leads, and district RPP leaders from our funded studies to engage in virtual meetings to foster equity-centered research, implement shared measurement plans, and receive ongoing technical assistance from RPPL.
Overview of the Community of Practice
The RPPL Contributing Studies 2024-2026 Community of Practice is a comprehensive initiative designed to support principal investigators (PIs), lead researchers, and practitioners involved in contributing studies. This initiative includes various types of sessions, such as 90-minute group Zoom meetings that feature sharing sessions for study updates and problem-solving, and learning sessions focused on methodological processes led by CoP members or guest speakers. Additionally, participants can access one-on-one technical assistance with RAC or AIB members and personalized check-ins with RPPL’s Director of Equitable Research-Practice Partnerships for project updates and challenges.
Topics covered in these sessions range from research-practice partnerships and interdisciplinary collaboration to equitable research processes and public dissemination strategies. Case studies on recent contributing studies, data-sharing agreements, randomization, and shared measures are also discussed, ensuring a rich exchange of knowledge and best practices. This community fosters meaningful collaboration and empowers researchers to advance equity-centered educational research.
