By Joanna Yip 葉天恩, Director of State and District Engagements, English Learners Success Forum

As the multilingual learner population grows nationally, professional learning providers are rising to meet the need for culturally and linguistically responsive practices in curriculum implementation and teacher development. This conversation will address how professional learning for multilingual learners has evolved from the past, emerging trends and shifts in how teachers are (and aren’t) equipped to serve multilingual learners and what professional learning can do to build educator capacity.
