Catch up with the recording and slides from RPPL’s July 2023 Brown Bag on preliminary findings from interviews with key stakeholders taken to evaluate the feasibility of implementing common measurements.
As part of RPPL’s “Research Infrastructure for Professional Learning” project, the UPenn team is supporting the development of tools and processes that facilitate data collection and storage among RPPL organizations to enable faster and more comprehensive research studies on the effectiveness of teacher PL. This will support high-quality research among RPPL’s partners by implementing standardized and validated measures of practice, supporting the core components of RPPL’s learning agenda. It will also promote and create tools for standardized data across PL organizations and researchers. To assess the potential for collective use, the team conducted interviews with key stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of implementing common measurements. During this Brown Bag, the team will present the preliminary findings from these interviews.
