RPPL’s research arm of our network, featuring Senior Researchers, Research Members, and Research Affiliates, enhances our capacity to advance equitable professional learning. Participants contribute through shared learning, expert guidance, collaborative studies, and peer review.

To amplify our mission of advancing educational equity through impactful professional learning (PL), RPPL has established a dynamic research network comprised of Senior Researchers, Research Members, and Research Affiliates. This tiered structure strategically engages scholars with varying levels of involvement, ensuring a diverse and robust approach to research. Senior Researchers, invited for their leadership in large-scale studies, provide critical expertise and strategic guidance, shaping RPPL’s research agenda and contributing to national-level impact. Research Members, actively involved in RPPL studies, bring their specialized skills and passion to collaborative projects, strengthening our capacity to conduct innovative research and provide technical assistance to partners.
The Research Affiliate tier further expands our network by connecting with researchers who share our commitment to PL, fostering knowledge exchange and shared learning. Affiliates contribute through peer review, participation in learning opportunities, and potential collaboration on future projects. This multi-tiered approach allows RPPL to leverage a broad spectrum of expertise, enhance our research capacity, and strengthen our relationships within the educational research community, ultimately driving meaningful improvements in PL practices and outcomes for our priority students.
