Schusterman PLC: Measurement Group

Our measurement PLC is tasked with selecting common indicators to measure and monitor progress that will fuel group learning and identify trends across our organizations.

This group aims to answer two questions: 

  1. How do we know if the service is working? 
  2. What can be done to improve it?

By:

  • Agreeing on common sub-constructs, survey instruments (or items), and common observation rubrics (or indicators) on which to gather these types of data across PLC orgs:
    • School & system conditions for school improvement 
    • Quality of PL 
    • Quality/equity of instruction 
    • Student outcomes (student work & assessments)
  • Using agreed-upon definitions of success and measurement tools/indicators in our reference sites
